  2. What are your areas of interest within your profession? 

    Hospital Infection Control, Mycobacteriology, Molecular diagnosis of Infectious diseases, Bacteriology

  3. Things that you are passionate about concerning the current aspects of your profession: 

    Infectious diseases constitute a major burden of diseases in our country, to correctly diagnosing them helps in targeted treatment.

  4. What made you choose to teach or mentor as a profession?

    Always loved teaching, and having worked in a Private lab for 3yrs made me realize how much I missed it!

  5. According to your experience, what is more important: getting good scores or acquiring knowledge? 

    Acquiring knowledge, in the long run, may help to get good scores. Although scores are not an accurate estimate they are essential.

  6. Any 3 topics/subjects that you like the most: 

    Microbiology, Ophthalmology, Surgery

  7. Any 3 topics/subjects that you detest the most: 

    Physics, Mathematics (the complicated one :p), History

  8. What are your fields of interest in Research? 

    Mycobacteriology (TB), Hospital Infection Control

  9. What are your career goals or expectations? 

    To be a PG guide for an M.D candidate

  10. What would you be doing if not for the current profession?

    Comedian, Vlogger & Memer

  11. What do you like to do in your leisure time?

    Edit videos. I have my own Lifestyle Youtube channel - ' The Travel & Food Doctor'. I also manage my Wife's Marathi Recipe channel - 'Talwadekar's Recipes'. (Subscribe to both right away :p)

  12. What change would you like to bring about in the Education sector?

    More skill oriented than rote, make conventional teaching fun

  13. What is your Mantra for success?

    Doesn't matter which side wins, I am here for the ENTERTAINMENT

  14. Who do you idolize and why?

    My own PG mentor as she made me believe Clinical Microbiology belongs to the wards more than the lab.
