I am a dentist by profession and currently practicing in South Delhi.

What prompted you to choose this profession?

My mother prompted me to choose this profession.

What is the best part about being a dental student/professional?

You get to save smiles.

How do you like spending your free time? 

Music, anime, Harry potter are some of my favorite things to indulge in.

Which is your favorite subject in dentistry and why?

Dental Anatomy and Dental Histology because I like drawing diagrams.

Which is your least favorite subject in dentistry?

Biochemistry is my least favorite subject.

What are some studying tips you use to retain and understand things better?

Coffee has been my savior and sailor throughout my dental school.

Which dental procedure(s) you enjoy/anticipate doing the most?

Recording impression of patients in prosthodontics and teeth extraction are some of my favorite procedures.

What do you enjoy more, doing a RCT or extracting teeth?

I enjoy doing an extraction more than a RCT.

What are some challenges you face in your professional field?

Seniority because newbie and freshers have to struggle a lot in this profession to prove their worth.

How would your friends describe you? 

My friends describe me as Dr. Doom

What has been the best/ most memorable moment in your dental school so far?

My most memorable moment in Dental school has been when I was awarded Distinction in Anatomy.

Has dentistry impacted your food choices? Like, do you consume less sugary and sticky food items? 

Yes, studying dentistry and being a dentist, has impacted my food choices. I seldom eat sweets and tend to avoid sugar at all costs.

As a dental health professional, what is your dental health care regime? 

Brush after every meal is something I religiously follow.

If given a choice, what alternate career would you have opted for?

I would have been a geologist if not a dentist.

Where would you like to work in the future?

At some place which makes me grow in my profession.

What is your dream travel destination?

Paris.

What is something you wish to change about the world?

Haha! If it were up to me, I would like to change everything in this world.
