What do you do?

I get the opportunity to serve people.

What inspired you to pursue a career in Ayurvedic medicine, and how long have you been practicing?

I have been practicing for eight years as an Ayurvedic Medical Officer, but for more than 14 years, I've been pursuing Ayurveda professionally. The fact that it's ancient and authentic today also makes me a firm believer in Ayurvedic science.

Which is your favourite subject in Ayurveda, and why?

My favorite subject is Charak Samhita, as it's the text that we study to know the basics of our medicine. It's a window to Ayurveda, though science is vast enough to be explored.

Are there any mentors or role models that have influenced your career path?

Dr. Sanjeev Sharma. His ideology and dedication to Ayurvedic science and patients have influenced me.

If given a choice, what alternate career would you have opted for?

I have always aimed to be a medical practitioner.

How do you manage your health and well-being, incorporating Ayurvedic principles into your daily life?

Aahar, Nidra, and Bramcharya.

What are some challenges you face in your professional field?

Ayurvedic practitioners are underrated in society, and our pharmaceutical companies also do not provide standard medicines. That's why it becomes difficult to treat patients. However, we may be diagnosing them well.

Indian

Favourite Book?

Geeta

What is your dream travel destination?

Istanbul, Turkey

What advice would you offer individuals who are considering pursuing a career in Ayurveda as practitioners?

It's only that Ayurvedic science is authentic and deep; it's only us who need to understand its depth and explore it so that this ancient medical science can be updated to suit today's world.

Is there a particular quote or mantra from Ayurveda or any other source that resonates with you personally or professionally?

I never thought about it...
