What do you do?

I'm currently interning at The First Affiliated Hospital in Jinzhou, Liaoning, China.

What’s the best part of your profession? What made you choose this profession?

I chose the profession of doctors because of my family's experiences with cancer during my childhood. Witnessing their suffering motivated me to join this path. The hope and belief that I can make a difference and help those who see us as healers is what drives me every day.

What’s your favorite book, and why?

The House of God" by Samuel Shem is a captivating self-help book for doctors, resonating deeply with my experiences as a medical intern. It's a must-read that leaves a lasting impact.

Do you and your colleagues practice taking blood on each other?

No, we have never tried phlebotomy on each other. Although we've tried ECG and USG on each other, and it's a fun activity to do with your friends.

How would your friends describe you?

I often listen to people, and they come to me for counseling. They mostly call me 'Counselor' because of the same.

What is your least favourite subject?

Biochemistry

Your favourite subject(s)?

Psychology

What’s something you wish to change about the world?

Not about the world but the people in the world. The judgmental point of view makes everyone uncomfortable with their opinions. The fact that people don’t respect each other’s feelings and mental health isn't something appreciable.

If your journey was/were a movie, what would it be called?

Pursuit of Purpose

What are you passionate about?

I am passionately driven by two main aspects of my life. Firstly, as a medical student, I have a deep-rooted desire to counsel and help others free of cost, connecting with them on an emotional level and making a positive impact. I have a keen interest in startups, business, and the dynamic world of entrepreneurship. These diverse passions shape my journey, allowing me to explore uncharted horizons and pursue a purpose-driven life.

What would you do if you were the last surviving human?

If I were the last human on Earth, I would gather crucial knowledge and memories, preserving them for any potential future beings. Additionally, I would take pleasure in the beauty of nature and accept solitude as the ultimate protector of our planet's heritage.

Would you commit a crime if no one would know?

No, I wouldn't commit a crime, even if nobody knew. I value doing what's right and following the human law, regardless of whether I'd be caught or not.

What would you do if you won a 1 Million dollar lottery?

I would probably establish an organization whose focus would be entirely on individuals who are suffering from mental health issues, providing everything for free. Additionally, I would fund research on medical devices that could advance our medical field, leading to better treatment facilities.

If given a choice, what alternate career would you have opted for?

I would probably have founded a startup and might be working as a CEO in the same.

What is your dream travel destination?

I find beauty in exploring diverse places, and while I don't have a specific dream destination, I enjoy the joy of discovering new cultures and experiences.

Where would you like to work in future?

India, and for India.
