What do you do?
I am an Occupational therapist & an Entrepreneur.
What’s the best part of your profession? What made you choose this profession?
The best part of my profession is that it enables me to be a medium to bring tangible change in the physical functional independence of a person with restricted performance or inability to perform daily tasks because of any health concern- injury, trauma, disorder, disease, aging, birth defects. Also as an entrepreneur, my professional engagement enables me to influence budding occupational therapists to be an entrepreneur and we are working as a team to bring about a "MOVEMENT" in an attempt to create mass awareness and understanding of Occupational therapy services across the common man.
To answer the second question: I landed up accidentally into the profession I wasn't aware of Occupational Therapy when I joined the course in 2001 But as it said, either you do what you love or you love what you do, I chose the latter part and now I am happy to be an occupational therapist.
