Doctor Chops Off Boyfriend's Genitalia Over Unfulfilled Marriage Promise

A female doctor in Bihar's Saran district is accused of chopping off her boyfriend's genital on Monday. The doctor has been taken into custody by police on suspicion of attempting murder. The man has been admitted to Patna Medical College and Hospital (PMCH) for treatment. He is a counselor for Ward No. 12 in the Madhaura block.

According to the accused, she had been having an affair with the man for the past five years, but he was not interested in getting married. She was able to convince him to get a legally recognized marriage. She thus went to court to get married, but the victim never showed up.

She then invited him to her home and allegedly sliced off the man's private part. The neighbors called the police after he was discovered lying in a pool of blood on a bed after they heard the counselor cry out.

The woman is a Hajipur-born doctor, twenty-five years old, and single. She was in Madhaura practicing. The victim is likewise single," stated the Saran district's SHO of the Madhaura police station.

"We have arrested the accused and further investigation is underway," he stated.
