Renowned cardiologist Gaurav Gandhi from Gujarat has tragically passed away. Despite dedicating his life to performing over 16,000 heart surgeries, Gaurav fell victim to a massive heart attack. At the young age of 41, Gaurav's untimely demise has left the community both saddened and shocked, as a doctor who healed others' hearts met such a fate.
After a typical day of providing medical guidance to patients on Monday, Gaurav Gandhi returned to his residence on Palace Road in Jamnagar. He enjoyed a family dinner and retired to bed. However, the following morning at 6 a.m., his family discovered Gaurav in an unwell state. Immediately, they rushed him to GG Hospital due to severe chest pain, but tragically, he died on the way. The news of Gaurav Gandhi's demise spread quickly, attracting a large crowd at the hospital. Numerous patients he had treated gathered outside, profoundly moved to tears by the loss of the doctor who had given them a chance at life.
Gaurav Gandhi did his MBBS and later MD from Jamnagar itself. After this, he moved to Ahmedabad to study cardiology. While staying in Jamnagar, he started treating people. In no time, he was counted among the best doctors in Saurashtra. His trust among the patients was really high. In a few years, he performed heart surgeries on more than 16,000 people. He was also linked to the 'Halt Heart Attack' campaign on Facebook. He often used social media and seminars to make people aware of heart-related issues.
