In a massive crackdown on an international drug syndicate, the Delhi and Gujarat police seized 518 kilograms of cocaine worth ₹5,000 crore from Avkar Drugs Limited Company in Ankleshwar, Gujarat.This is the third significant bust in the past 11 days, with a total of 1,289 kg of cocaine worth ₹13,000 crore and 40 kg of hybrid marijuana seized so far.
The joint operation was conducted after investigators discovered that the 770 kg cocaine seized in Delhi recently was manufactured at Avkar Drugs Pvt Ltd in Ankleshwar.
Police have arrested Avkar's owner Ashwin Ramani and five others, and the initial investigation has uncovered connections to Dubai and the United Kingdom.
