Tension triumphed at the LPS Institute of Cardiology and Cardiac Surgery, Kanpur, after the death of a patient during treatment. The patient's family alleges that the death was due to the doctor's negligence.

Taking cognizance of the complaint, Dr. Rakesh Verma, the Director of Cardiology, has constituted a five-member team to investigate the allegations. The team will submit the report after two days, and further action will be taken.

The deceased, identified as Chandrapal Nishad, belonged to Fatehpur district and complained of chest pain three days ago. After this, he was admitted to the LPS Institute of Cardiology and Cardiac Surgery in Kanpur. Tragically, on Friday evening, Chandrapal Nishad died.

As per the deceased's family, the ordeal began when they sought answers regarding the causes leading to Chandrapal’s death. But their inquiries were met with hate and abuse from junior doctors. The deceased's son, Aditya, mentioned that they encountered indifference from medical staff despite his father's deteriorating health, which resulted in Chandrapal's demise.

Further, he added that the junior doctors abused them when he and his sisters, Sandhya, Rani, and Anju, queried the doctors about the reason of their father's death.

The deceased’s family also tried to make videos of the doctors; however, their mobile phones were snatched away, and the doctors assaulted them.

This incident has sparked anger among residents of Kanpur, with many expressing shock over the alleged mistreatment of the deceased's family. As the investigation revealed, the spotlight remains on the LPS Institute of Cardiology and Cardiac Surgery, with hopes for transparency and accountability in addressing this distressing incident.
