Maharashtra: Mumbai Doctor Dies as Car Rams into a Truck on the Highway

Eid marks the end of the fasting month of Ramadan. Thousands of people around the world travel to celebrate the religious day with their families and loved ones. Sadly, that was not to be for Dr. Abdul Khalique.

Dr. Khalique (50) was traveling to his hometown of Amravati with his wife and two children to celebrate Eid when his car rammed into a truck.

The Mumbai-based Dr. Khalique sadly passed away. The accident took place at the Samruddhi Expressway in Jalna on March 22.

According to the police, four people were injured. They were taken to a hospital and are recuperating well.
