Man who Peed on a Woman on an Air India Flight Arrested finally After Six Weeks

The man who urinated on an elderly woman on an Air India flight whilst inebriated has finally been arrested. The incident took place six weeks ago, on November 26. The accused, Shankar Mishra, was finally arrested by the Delhi Police on January 6.

Mishra was hiding from the police. An airport alert was sanctioned for him to trace him if he tries to escape. He had switched off his phone.

However, according to many reports, it was noted that he was in contact with his friends on social media platforms. He had used his credit card/debit card as well.

The above findings gave the police a concrete idea about his whereabouts in Bengaluru. The Delhi Police had appointed a team in Bengaluru to catch Mishra.

Mishra had reportedly apologized to the woman and begged her to not report the case to the police. Air India had banned Mishra from flying for 30 days. The decision was bashed by netizens claiming the punishment was very lenient.

Air India recently filed a case against this disgusting act on January 4. The elderly woman also accused Air India of being unprofessional and not handling the sensitive situation properly.

Mishra had reportedly apologized to the woman and begged her to not report the case to the police. Air India had banned Mishra from flying for 30 days. The decision was bashed by netizens claiming the punishment was very lenient.

Mishra served as a vice president of Wells Fargo, a reputed multinational firm based in California. He has been terminated on immediate notice.

Air India crew have been asked to explain their actions concerning unprofessional behavior and delays in registering a case.
