Black Maternal Healthcare has taken a toll in the US. Skin color is a risk factor for pregnancy in the US. The doctors, nurses, and other staff are callous towards black women. As per Centres for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), black women are three to four times more likely to die of pregnancy-related complications. These complications are preventable but racism deems them less affordable to treatment.
