In AIIMS-New Delhi (All India Institute of Medical Sciences), a neurosurgeon is said to have committed suicide. This is happening while doctors throughout the country are calling for justice for the horrible rape and murder of a fellow doctor at RG Kar Medical College. A suicide note was found by the police, and it is likely said that the doctor died from an overdose.

In his suicide note, the doctor said, "This is my own wish, I blame no one for this and this is nobody's fault so please do not harass anyone and please respect my wish to be happy.".

The doctor was 34 years old. He worked at the AIIMS Trauma Centre.

Dr. Raj Ghnoiya, a Gujarat native from Rajkot, was identified as the deceased.

DCP (south) Ankit Chauhan provided details, stating that at around 2:00 pm, the Hauz Khas police station received a PCR call regarding a doctor in the Gautam Nagar area who had committed suicide. Following this, the police arrived at the location where the unconscious victim was found.

After the cops carried him to AIIMS hospital, doctors declared him dead. The DCP stated, "Dr. Ghnoiya was posted at AIIMS Trauma Centre, Safdarjung Enclave as an SR Neurosurgery."

The deceased wrote in a suicide note that he did so of his own free will and that no one was to blame, according to the officer who claimed to have found the note from the premises. Owing to the discovery of used prescription vials and syringes at the scene, the police believe that the doctor overdosed on drugs and died. The officer declared, “We are probing the matter from all angles,”
