In light of recent events, the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) examination has been replaced by the National Exit Test (NExT). The NExT exam combines the requirements of clearing the final year and securing a seat for post-graduation. Many students have revolted against this change, while others are in favor of it. Memes have been created and there is a lot of activity happening on Twitter. Here are some of the opinions of medicos and tweets being shared:

Memes have been made on Twitter about this decision, which is being circulated in the form of videos and templates.

People are not sure if the members of the decision committee themselves understand the process or are confused as to what will commence.

A MBBS student, Abhishek Ranjan, sarcastically tweeted about the confusion created due to NExT exam tagging, the founder of DAMS Delhi, Dr. Sumer Sethi, and the National Medical Commission.

In my opinion, the government is trying to make the medical curriculum according to the Western countries which can be beneficial in the long run however the sudden announcement of this exam can take toll on the mental health of students.

Some doctors were trying to clarify the process of the NExT exam.

Dr. Prashant Kumar Singh explained the importance of NEET PG 2024 for Interns and post-interns, along with a take-home message.

@AlwaysChinni97 aka Dr.parasite tweeted the gist of the meeting and the decision uptake about the NExT examination.

Medicos already face a lot of challenges whether it is the curriculum, entrances, practicals, vivas, etc. The constant changes occurring by the NMC cause it to be more difficult for students to cope with the never-ending stress.

Dr. Kabilan Mayilswamy couldn't stop himself from tweeting Modi's iconic dialogue 'Ache din aayenge' to 'Aur kya ache din chahiye.'

Along with the sarcasm and the confusion and stress due to this exam, the cons and pros of the NExT exam were also shared.

Harsh Mehta shared the Benefits of NExT exam in his tweet and how it will make their internship less stressful and the preparation easy.
