Shocker: Two BHU Students Arrested for Forcing a Doctor for Unnatural Sex

On Monday Lanka police arrested two students of BHU for calling a medical practitioner to Ruiya hostel after contacting him on a social networking app and allegedly forcing him for unnatural sex.

On Monday, Lanka police arrested two students of Banaras Hindu University (BHU), Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh for calling a medical practitioner to Ruiya hostel after contacting him on a social networking app and allegedly forcing him to have unnatural sex.

As per police, the accused locked the doctor in the hostel room, beat the doctor up, and looted his gold chain, locket, ring, and Rs 60,000.

On February 4, the doctor reported the matter to the Lanka police.

Amid interrogation, the accused confessed to their crime and said that they befriended the doctor through social media apps. They called him at Ravidas Gate on January 11 and took him to the Ruiya Hostel of BHU. They stated to the police that they closed the hostel room, threatened him to take off his clothes, and made a video with his mobile while having unnatural sex with him.

They also grabbed his gold chain, a locket, a gold ring, and cash worth Rs. 60,000 from the doctor after threatening him to make the video viral. They thought that, out of shame and fear, the doctor would not inform anyone about the incident.

As per the TOI report, Lanka inspector Shivakant Mishra said that two students, 20 and 21 years old and from Pratapgarh and Ghazipur districts, were arrested near the Naria crossing. Police retrieved the jewelry and mobile phone used in the crime.

Along with these two students, three others were also present in the room when the incident happened. An FIR has been lodged against all five accused, and the police have arrested the two accused, Narayan Shukla and Suraj Dubey. They are the students of the Veda Shastra at BHU, and the police have started a search operation to arrest the other accused.

They have been arrested under Sections 34 for criminal acts done by several persons in furtherance of the common intention, 323 for voluntarily causing hurt, 347 for wrongful confinement to extort property, 377 for unnatural sex, 384 for extortion, 394 for voluntarily causing hurt in committing robbery, 504 for intentional insult with intent to provoke breach of the peace, 506, 511 of the IPC, and 66E of the IT Act.
