Dr. Dheeraj Dubay, a senior joint replacement surgeon in Jaipur, set the record for the most joint replacement surgeries completed in a single day. The International Book of Records, Forbes World Records, and the Golden Book of World Records have acknowledged this accomplishment.

On May 9, Dr. Dubay operated on 18 patients, performing 33 joint replacement surgeries.

He said that he had spent some time preparing for this accomplishment.

Several patients had one or both of their joints replaced during the procedures, one of whom had a hip replacement.

The relevant institutions received the surgical documents, verified the accomplishment, and issued their acknowledgment.

According to Dr. Dubay, the hard work and dedication of his entire team contributed to this record in addition to his own.

Dr. Dubay works on minimally invasive surgery and employs computer guidance techniques. In addition, he replaces only the injured part of the knee rather than the entire joint while performing partial knee replacements using the TUKSplasty procedure. By using this method, the entire knee can remain intact while only the injured section of the joint needs to be replaced.
