14 Divya Pharmacy and Patanjali Products Banned in Noida

The Gautam Buddh Nagar administration has prohibited the sale of fourteen Ayurvedic medications produced by Divya Pharmacy and Patanjali Ayurveda Limited.

Founded by yoga guru Ramdev, Patanjali Ayurved Ltd. was ordered by the Supreme Court on July 9 to submit an affidavit clarifying whether or not advertisements for its fourteen products—whose production licenses were first banned but later reinstated—have been removed.

The production licenses for fourteen items manufactured by Patanjali Ayurved Ltd. and Divya Pharmacy were suspended by a decision issued by the Uttarakhand State Licensing Authority on April 15.

The order prohibiting the 14 goods was issued on Friday by the Gautam Buddh Nagar Regional Ayurvedic and Unani Officer, according to officials.

They added that the State Drug Licensing Authority, Ayurvedic and Unani Services, Uttarakhand, issued the directives for this action.

The district information office has given information indicating that all medical practitioners and medical stores in the district have received notice to immediately stop selling the 14 products on the list.

The products on the list include Swasari Gold, Swasari Vati, Bronchom, Swasari Pravahi, Swasari Avaleh, Mukta Vati Extra Power, Lipidom, Madhu Grit, BP Grit, Madhunashini Vati Extra Power, Livamrit Advance, Livogrit, Eyegrit Gold, and Patanjali Drishti Eye Drop.

As per the orders of the State Drug Licensing Authority Ayurvedic and Unani Services, Uttarakhand, Dehradun, the manufacturing license for the attached list of 14 medicines of Divya Pharmacy and Patanjali Ayurveda Limited has been canceled.

"In pursuance of the above orders, all the drug dealers/medical stores working in the district are informed that the sale of the medicines mentioned in the attached list is banned with immediate effect. If found buying/selling the said medicines, action will be taken as per rules," Dr. Kem added in the order.
