Ayurveda Day 2024 is being observed on October 29th! This year, over 150 countries are joining in to celebrate the theme "Ayurveda Innovations for Global Health." The Ministry of Ayush is organizing a grand event at the All India Institute of Ayurveda in New Delhi, and it's going to be huge.
Ayurveda Day has become a global movement since its inception in 2016. Union Minister of State, Ayush, Shri Prataprao Jadhav, emphasized that the theme of this year's celebrations highlights Ayurveda's contribution to global health, promoting it as a robust system of medicine for public welfare.
What's new this year?
This year's celebration will see significant participation from startups and industries, positioning Ayurveda at the heart of global health innovation. Leading Ayurveda experts are excited about the focus on innovation, which will attract youngsters to indulge in Ayurveda and establish startups.

Ayush Grid: Making Ayurveda knowledge accessible through digital platforms, including Ayurgyan Scheme, Ayush Research Portal, and Namaste Portal.
WHO Global Traditional Medicine Centre (GTMC): Advancing Ayurveda's role in the global health system.
