  1. Where are you working currently?

    King George's Medical University, Lucknow, India

  2. What are your areas of interest within your profession? 

    My areas of interest are the management of badly broken teeth, discolored teeth.

  3. Things that you are passionate about concerning the clinical/research/current aspects of your profession: 

    Giving treatment to patients with a holistic approach.

  4. What made you choose teaching or mentoring as a profession?  

    I appreciate the guidance and motivation of my teachers, so I want to give back what I learned from them.

  5. According to your experience, what is more important: getting good scores or acquiring knowledge? 

    Acquiring knowledge: if you have good knowledge, you will definitely get good scores.

  6. Any 3 topics/subjects that you like the most: 

    Microsurgical endodontics, aesthetic dentistry, and 3 D printing.

  7. Any 3 topics/subjects that you dislike/ detest the most: 

    It is very difficult to answer this question as a doctor. Despite utmost care and motivation, non-compliance of patients, mishandling of instruments, and unhygienic protocol are the three areas that I dislike most.

  8. What are your fields of interest in research and clinical practice?  

    Writing Systematic Review and Meta-analysis, Research Integrity

  9. What are your career goals or expectations? 

    Being sympathetic and helpful to the students and patients

  10. What would you be doing if not for the current profession?

    I love gardening, so I would open a plant nursery.

  11. What do you like to do in your leisure time?

    Gardening and Swimming

  12. What change would you like to bring about in the education sector?
    Discourage rote learning. The education sector must be encouraged to introduce conceptual learning, which avoids students to mug up what they are being taught. We should help students understand the concepts better so they can retain and apply them better.

  13. What is your mantra for success?
    Just Do It

  14. Who do you idolize, and why?
    Dr. Anil Chandra, professor of conservative dentistry and endodontics, is my idol; he was my mentor and my guide. He taught me that no matter how many mistakes you make or how slowly you progress, you are still way ahead of everyone who isn't trying. You will feel amazing just because you’ve stepped out of your comfort zone, even if you fail. So never stop trying.

    I have 13 publications.

  16. Kindly mention your achievements or awards:

    The biggest achievement is the satisfaction of the patient after getting treatment and unbiased feedback from my students

  17. And finally, what message would you like to give to today's youth?

    "Arise! Awake! And do not stop until the goal is reached." With these thoughts, I would like to say that you have the power to create a better world. We are looking forward to it! So whatever path you choose, have the courage to be the best. Stepping out of your comfort zone and trying new things is the best way to grow, and the most important thing is that spending time with friends is a great way to have a good time without worrying about anything.
