I am practising dentistry in Qatar.
What prompted you to choose this profession?
My interest is in Biology. Human Biology in particular.
What is the best part about being a dental student/professional?
Getting to give patients their smiles back
How do you like spending your free time?
Watching videos on veneers and reels. I find that very calming.
Which is your favorite subject in dentistry and why?
Pedodontics. Particularly pediatric endodontics.
Which is your least favorite subject in dentistry?
Prosthodontics
What are some studying tips you use to retain and understand things better?
Go through it two or three times and try explain it to a friend and we may understand better in the process. Secondly, using mnemonics, then revising to retain.
Which dental procedure(s) you enjoy/anticipate doing the most?
Extraction, Restoration, and RCT
What do you enjoy more, doing an RCT or extracting teeth?
RCT
What are some challenges you face in your professional field?
More demanding patients. Children of pre-cooperative age.
What has been the best/ most memorable moment in your dental school so far?
When my professor appreciated me for my work with a special child.

Made me conscious of what I have and a little conscious too.

Brushing twice to thrice a day and regular scaling schedules.
