In an odd allegation, a 24-year-old guy from Agra, Uttar Pradesh, claimed that after being buried alive by four men over a land dispute, he got rescued by stray dogs.


The victim, identified as Roop Kishore or Happy, said on July 18 that he was attacked in the Artoni neighborhood of Agra by four men: Ankit, Gaurav, Karan, and Akash. The victim's FIR states that the four men beat and strangled him. The four men buried him on their property, assuming he died from the attack.

Roop Kishore lived despite being buried. At the site of his burial, a group of stray dogs dug in. It was when the hounds bit Roop Kishore's flesh that he came to. Upon reviving, the 24-year-old made his way out of the vicinity and made contact with some locals, who then transported him to a hospital for medical treatment.

According to Roop Kishore's mother, the four attackers took his son out of their house against their will. The four accused are now escaping arrest, but the police say a thorough investigation is ongoing and that efforts are being made to find them.
