A video showing a drunk on-duty doctor at Bairagarh Civil Hospital in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh, has gone viral on social media, sparking outrage and concern. The clip shows Dr. Praveen Thakur, an on-duty doctor, appearing visibly intoxicated and misbehaving with a police inspector who had come to the hospital for the medical examination of a criminal.

According to the details, the incident occurred when a police officer arrived at the hospital to get a criminal's medical examination completed. Dr. Thakur reportedly delayed the process by three hours. When the police inspector confronted him, the doctor began to misbehave and insult the officer. The police inspector then recorded the incident on video.

In the footage, Dr. Thakur is seen calling the police inspector 'do kodi ka aadmi' (a worthless man), while the inspector records the encounter. The incident took place in the presence of the hospital superintendent, Dr. JK Jain, who tried to argue with Dr. Thakur. Dr. Jain can be heard saying to Dr. Thakur throughout the conversation, "Aap hosh mein nahi lag rahe hai" (You don't seem to be in your senses). Dr. Thakur responds, "Meri MNC karvaiye aap" (You conduct my medical examination).

Further information reveals that allegations against Dr. Thakur for being drunk on duty are not new. Despite several previous complaints, no action has been taken against him. The need for responsibility and strong steps to prevent future incidents of this kind has increased in response to this incident.

The video has triggered widespread criticism from the public and raised serious questions about the hospital's management and the state of healthcare services. Following the incident, the Bairagarh police station in-charge filed a formal complaint with the hospital's superintendent. The video evidence has been submitted to support the allegations against Dr. Thakur.

The authorities are now under pressure to take a quick and significant step to address this issue. The hospital administration is expected to launch an investigation to determine the facts and take appropriate disciplinary measures against Dr. Thakur.

The video continues to circulate on various social media platforms, with many users expressing their outrage and demanding justice. The incident has also provoked discussions about the need for better monitoring and stricter regulations to prevent such occurrences in the future.
