A medical tribunal has determined that Dr. Tijion Esho, a well-known cosmetic surgeon in the UK who is well-known for his appearances on ITV's This Morning and other television shows, exchanged Botox treatments for sexual favors with a patient at his Newcastle-upon-Tyne clinic.
The tribunal discovered that a lady known only as "Patient A" received free Botox treatments from Dr. Esho, the founder of the Esho Clinic, which has clinics in London, Liverpool, and Dubai, in exchange for sexual services. "Patient A" went to consult with Dr. Esho for cosmetic lip treatments. "Patient A" is well-known for her pornographic content on websites like OnlyFans and webcam services.
Although Dr. Esho first denied having any physical contact with Patient A, he later acknowledged having an "improper emotional relationship" with her, involving inappropriate Instagram messages exchanged between July 2019 and February 2022. The tribunal revealed that these messages included explicit discussions about sexual activities.
Further investigation by the tribunal revealed disturbing details of Dr. Esho's misconduct. It was found that during consultations, he made inappropriate comments about the patient's body, stroked her hair, and rubbed himself against her. The tribunal also determined that Dr. Esho had sexual intercourse with Patient A at his clinic in 2021 and administered Botox free of charge as part of their arrangement.
While expressing dissatisfaction with the tribunal's decision, Dr. Esho acknowledged in his defense that he made mistakes in judgment when it came to his interactions with Patient A. He highlighted his commitment to his medical career while strongly denying ever having any physical sexual contact with the patient.
The panel, led by Debi Gould, concluded that Dr. Esho's actions were motivated by sexual desire.
