A class 10 student in Meerut collapsed suddenly after seeing his results of 93.5% in UP board exams and was immediately admitted to the ICU (intensive care unit).

The boy is 16-year-old Anshul Kumar of Meerut’s Maharshi Dayanand Inter College. On Saturday, the UP board released the results of Class 10 and Class 12, in which Anshul scored 93.5% in his Board Class 10 exams. But after seeing his results he collapsed suddenly. The boy's father, Sunil Kumar, who was working as a post office contract employee explained the incident.

Anshul was immediately moved to the hospital after his condition didn't improve despite multiple attempts to revive him at home. The boy's family and friends were extremely worried about his sudden collapse. However, the boy gained consciousness after the incident.

The boy's condition stabilized soon as per his cousin Pushpendra. This incident underscores the amount of pressure students face during the board examinations and highlights the necessity for integral support systems for the students.

The results of the board examinations were announced by the Uttar Pradesh State Board of High School and Intermediate Education on Saturday. Class 10 students achieved 89.55 percent and Class 12 students achieved 82.60 percent in the examinations. The first and second ranks were taken by Shubham Verma and Prachi Nigam.
