Flight health emergencies are a common phenomenon. However, some of them rarely result in the demise of a fellow passenger.
That's exactly what happened on flight 6E-1736. The Indigo airlines flight was expected to cover its daily route from Delhi to Doha in Qatar. However, it had to make an emergency landing at Karachi airport after a passenger felt ill on March 13.
The flight captain contacted the Karachi Air Traffic Control and scheduled an emergency landing due to a medical emergency. However, unfortunately, the passenger passed away before the flight could land.
The deceased has been identified as Abdullah (60). He was a native of Nigeria. He was declared dead on arrival by the airport medical team.
