Dr. Brennan Speigel, Research Director of the centre, claims that using virtual reality has many therapeutic applications.

Dr. Speigel said that the technique can be used for eating disorders, high blood pressure, schizophrenia, depression, anxiety, irritable bowel syndrome, accident injuries, cancer, and many more. It can also be used for women in labor.
