Ahmadabad: The State Health Department of Gujarat has issued an order mandating over 1,100 MBBS graduates in the state to serve a one-year bond duty at government hospitals in rural and urban areas.
The graduates are requesting authorities to postpone the reporting time for this duty after August 15 due to their upcoming National Eligibility and Entrance Test Post-Graduate (NEET-PG) 2024 examination scheduled for August 11, 2024. These medical graduates have completed their internships and are now required to fulfill the one-year mandatory service at government hospitals as per the terms of their MBBS admissions.
These medicos have been directed to report to their positions offered to them for their bond services, while these MBBS graduates completed their internship and now as per the bond service terms executed at the time of their MBBS admissions, they are required to undergo one year of mandatory service at the government hospitals.
