The Lucknow sisters showed the importance of their father by managing to get married in the presence of their father with his critical condition in the ICU (intensive care unit). The medical staff of Era's Lucknow Medical College and Hospital fulfilled the Lucknow sisters' wish to get married in the presence of their father's blessings. On June 15, the ICU nikah video was shared on the X platform and gained a positive response from social media users.

Dr. Mustahsin Malik, the ICU in-charge, shared the patient Sufi Saiyad Junaid Sabri's (53) critical condition and he was admitted to Era Hospital on June 8 with a chest infection. The nikah (Muslim marriage) of Junaid's two daughters, Tanvila and Darkashan had been fixed on June 22 in Mumbai, but his suddenly deteriorated condition led to such a heartfelt decision.

Junaid was supposed to fly to Mumbai for the wedding, but his condition deteriorated on June 8, leading to his admission to Era Hospital on ventilator support. Seeing their father's condition, the daughters were heartbroken. They wanted their father to be present at their wedding.

Dr. Tariq Sabri, Junaid's brother said, "Junaid was supposed to fly to Mumbai for the wedding, but his condition deteriorated on June 8, leading to his admission to Era Hospital on ventilator support. "This was the fifth time Junaid had been on ventilator support in the last 14 months, with previous admission followed by recovery", Dr. Tariq added.

Dr. Tariq did not find any solution other than approaching Prof Muhtasin, who said it could be done by requesting a dean of Era Hospital MMA Faridi, who approved Junaid's family request on the condition that only 5 people are allowed in the ICU during the nikah ceremony, they would need to follow all the precautions, after all the agreement, finally approved for nikah in ICU.

To understand the importance of precautions and Junaid's condition the nikah for the first daughter, Dr. Darksha Saiyad (26), was arranged on Thursday, June 13, and for the second daughter, Tanzila Saiyad (24), on Friday, June 14.

Dr. Malik showed a positive response to hosting his patient Junaid's two daughters' nikah and said, "At his daughters, whose marriage was scheduled for June 22 in Mumbai but they wanted to have the nikah in their father's presence, special arrangements were made inside the ICU. Curtains and a separate room were set up to allow five people to attend the ceremony on a humanitarian basis." To understand the importance of precautions and Junaid's condition the nikah for the first daughter, Dr. Darksha Saiyad (26), was arranged on Thursday, June 13, and for the second daughter, Tanzila Saiyad (24), on Friday, June 14.

Our father is our world, and we could not get married without his blessings. We are extremely thankful to the administration for allowing this. Luckily, even on ventilator support, my father was conscious, and his eyes filled with satisfaction as the nikah was recited in front of him.
