A father in Yulin, southern China, has stirred up debate by disciplining his 3-year-old daughter Jiajia for watching too much television. The incident took place when the father was making dinner and called his daughter to the table, but she couldn't hear him because she was watching TV.
Jiajia started crying as the father, furious, turned off the television. Then he handed her a big empty bowl and stated, "When your tears fill this bowl, you can watch TV again."
