The Faridabad Police have detained a so-called "fake doctor," who, despite holding a degree in homeopathy, has been treating people for the past 35 years using allopathic care.
Rajbir, the accused, was apprehended from his Faridabad clinic.
A senior Faridabad Police official stated that they received information about a man operating an illegal clinic in the village of Chandawli, Faridabad. As a result, a joint team of police officers headed by Medical Official Pradeep Kumar of the Health Department was formed.
After conducting a raid at the specified location in the village of Chandawli, the team located the fake doctor Rajbir. The accused physician had been running the clinic and practicing for the previous 35 years, the police discovered during the preliminary investigation.
According to the official, "The accused doctor had a degree in homeopathy."
He added that during the search, the police discovered a variety of pharmaceuticals, tools, and equipment in the clinic, along with some allopathic treatments. The officer said, "All that material has been seized."
Following the civil surgeon's complaint, the police opened a case and took the accused physician into custody. He was later brought before a judge. Additional inquiry is in progress, the official stated.
