Following the death of an infant as a result of a delayed and ignorant Cesarean surgery, doctors at the Lady Butler Hospital in Khandwa are being accused of gross medical negligence.
Family members claim that the physicians accidentally delayed the process so that a normal delivery could take place. But complications later on meant that doctors had to perform a C-section without telling the family.
On the morning of June 21, Vishal Jadham of Chiktikhal stated that his spouse Sunehri Bai was referred to Lady Butler Hospital from Chhaigaon Makhan Hospital.
Following the June 23 C-section, the baby was admitted to the intensive care unit (ICU) by the attending doctor upon realizing the newborn's severe difficulties. Unfortunately, after two days, the infant died.
Jadham proceeded to claim that his spouse had been mistreated from the first month of her pregnancy by gynecologist Dr. Laxmi Dudve. Though the family was guaranteed a normal delivery, they received private treatment under Dr. Dudve, including an eighth-month sonography that declared the baby healthy with weight of 3.3 kg.
The case was referred from Chhaigaon Makhan. The child was very ill when the delivery was made on Sunday when I was on duty. Following the sad event, the family members raised a ruckus in the hospital. We decided not to report against them since we could relate to their suffering.

In an attempt to get justice for their loss, the bereaved family filed a complaint at the collectorate on Wednesday.
