Groom-to-be Dies During 'Smile Design' Surgery at Dental Clinic

In her post, she said that at FMS Hospital in Jubilee Hills, where a patient passed away due to anesthesia overdose during a dental procedure, one of her friends too had a horrible dental treatment experience there earlier. The dentist accidentally chopped off her lip, leaving a deep depression in her mouth.

Sowmya further said that even after more than a year her friend is left with scars and she is unable to fully stretch her lip. The corner of her lip is missing which is preventing her from laughing or smiling widely. To regain flexibility she is on steroids.

The patient visited the clinic for a routine tooth extraction. The mother of the woman posted a negative review on Google review of the hospital. In that review, she explained what her daughter experienced.

It was mentioned that during her daughter’s tooth extraction, the senior dentist (also maxillofacial surgeon) with his assistant burnt off her daughter’s mouth with their dental instruments. The dentist said that the wound will heal in a few months which ultimately turned into more than a year. When her daughter finally expected treatment, the hospital in charge Shekhar along with his colleagues mocked her daughter's pain and trauma and humiliated her daughter and her father.

According to the mother of the patient, the hospital in charge threatened to throw them out if they didn't leave and they told the patient she looked good that way and laughed at her. Harassed the patient with their vulgar comments. The mother also wrote, “Nobody should go through this pain, they ruined my daughter's life. She completely lost flexibility on the right side of her mouth now. They are liars and frauds”.
