Central Council for Research in Homeopathy (CCRH) is an apex organization under the Ministry of Ayush which promotes Scientific Research in Homeopathy. It has a network of 27 research Institutes and 7 treatment centers presenting health care facilities through OPD/IPD. It has upgraded its institutes with proper facilities and Upgraded the Central Research Institute, Kottayam to the National Homeopathy Research Institute in Mental Health, Kottayam, Kerala. Being a part of IEC, CCRH has developed educational material and its distribution is done free of cost. CCRH has undertaken programs like Homeopathy for Healthy Teething, SC component plan (Schedule Caste Component plan), and Health Camps Participating in Poshan Abhiyan and Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav. Funds allocated to the new Clinical Research unit homeopathy at Goa is Rs 85.29 lakhs in year 2023-2024.

Central Council for Research in Ayurvedic Sciences (CCRAS) is an apex system for Research in Ayurveda under the Ministry of Ayush. It has 30 institutes. CCRAS has not established a new institute in the last 3 years.

CCRH  collaborated with the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare under the National Program for Prevention and Control of Cancer, Diabetes, Cardiovascular Diseases, and Stroke. This is aimed at prevention through early diagnosis and management through Homeopathic treatment.

The National Institute of Homeopathy, Kolkata is an Autonomous Organisation under Ayush. It trains undergraduate, and postgraduate students and research scholars. A satellite institute of the National Institute of Homeopathy, Kolkata was inaugurated by the Prime Minister of India at Narela Delhi in 2022, to promote research in the healthcare sector.

The National Commission for Homoeopathy (NCH) is a statutory Body under the Ministry of Ayush its notice in 2021 repealed the Homeopathy Central Council Act, 1973, and constituted a National Commission for Homeopathy under the Provision of the National Commission for Homeopathy Act,2020. In BHMS, concepts of Research Methodology for supplementing modern advancement, research, and technology in Homoeopathy(SMART Homeopathy) have been incorporated.

NCH in association with CCRH has conducted training for Postgraduates and teachers.

Pharmacopoeia Commission for Indian Medicine & Homoeopathy (PCIM and H) is a subordinate office under the Ministry of Ayush for the development of Pharmacopeias and Formularies.

Pharmacopeia standards for Homeopathy drugs are seen by the publication of Pharmacopoeia Commission for Indian Medicine & Homoeopathy (PCIM and H).
