On September 30th at Indore's MY Hospital, a drunk attendant attempted to enter a female doctor's resting area on the fifth floor. The accused banged on the door for three minutes before the victim called her colleagues for help. A junior doctor arrived at the scene, confronted the attendant, and subsequently handed him over to a third medical officer.
During this incident, the security guard on duty was reportedly asleep, showing a lack of concern for the safety of the female staff on that floor. No official complaint has been filed as the junior doctors addressed the situation themselves. The Junior Doctors' Association has demanded increased security measures to prevent such incidents in the future and to avoid scenarios similar to the R.G. Kar case.
Hospital Superintendent Dr. Ashok Yadav has denied these claims, stating that the attendant was merely trying to contact the doctor regarding a patient admitted to the hospital. He also mentioned that a male nurse was with the attendant at the time, and she was frightened by the recent R.G. Kar incident, which caused her to become anxious. Dr. Sanjay Dixit has announced the formation of a committee led by Dr. Dharmendar Jhawar to investigate the matter and submit a report within 24 hours.
The attendant had gone to call the doctor as his patient is admitted to the hospital. A male nurse was also with the attendant when he knocked the door. However, she was frightened by the incident whe the attendant knocked the door." Meanwhile, Dean Dr Sanjay Dixit said, "We have constituted a committee led by Dr Dharmendra Jhawar which will submit report in 24 hours.

According to the victim, the attendant was indeed drunk and banged on the door for three minutes before shouting at her when she opened it. The male nurse arrived a few minutes later. When her colleagues arrived, they intervened and immediately dealt with the attendant, including physically confronting him.
I was frightened as the drunk attendant was smashing the door for three minutes continuously. He was shouting on me after I came out of the room. The male nurse reached there after few minutes. He was sent away by my colleagues who reached the spot on my call.
