A new healthcare initiative called the Health Seva Plan was announced by Nita Ambani, Founder and Chairperson of Reliance Foundation, during the 10th-anniversary celebration of Sir H. N. Reliance Foundation Hospital. The program aims to provide free medical care to children, adolescent girls, and women from marginalized communities, as part of the hospital’s ongoing mission to make high-quality healthcare accessible and affordable across India.
According to a press release by Reliance Industries, the Health Seva Plan will screen and treat 50,000 children diagnosed with congenital heart disease at no cost. Additionally, 50,000 women suffering from breast and other cancers will receive free screenings and treatment. The plan also includes free cervical cancer vaccinations for 10,000 adolescent girls, further extending the hospital’s commitment to preventive care.
“For the past ten years, Sir H. N. Reliance Foundation Hospital has remained committed to making world-class healthcare affordable and accessible to every Indian. Together, we have impacted millions of lives and brought hope to countless families. As we mark this special occasion, we are pleased to introduce the Health Seva Plan, free of charge, for children and women in underserved communities,” said Nita Ambani during the anniversary celebration on Sunday.
