When you hear the word wedding, the things which come to your mind are, celebration, different functions, happiness, getting together of the whole family, the addition of new members in the family and much more. Every person is excited when it comes to their marriage. They want their marriage to be special, unique, and nowadays in the era of social media, trendy too.

Some like simple marriages and some a grand big fat wedding which is absolutely their choice. But there is something which holds a special place in the wedding i.e the wedding card itself. No matter if you are having a simple or grand or any kind of marriage, but a wedding card is a must.

Nowadays, wedding invitations are not only in the form of printed paper cards, but digital invitations are also popular due to fast connectivity and ease of communication, and you can include gifs or graphics in your wedding invitation as a result of new technologies and software. People have begun to push their creative boundaries when creating invitation cards.

One such incident happened when on August 20, 2022, at 5:12 pm, the chairman of RPG Enterprises, Harsh Goenka, published a photo of an unusual wedding card that at first glance appeared like the back cover of a tablet strip with a caption on his post “A pharmacist’s wedding invitation! People have become so innovative these days….” The tweet became viral as soon as it was posted. The tweet has received 562 retweets and 4,796 likes. How innovative will the marriage be if the invitation card is so innovative? That will be something more exciting to know.

Along with becoming viral, this tweet also got a lot of quirky comments, sarcastic ones, and some in support, blessing the couple.

One of the users commented sarcastically “Hope there would be no expiry date”.

A similar comment was given by another user “I am glad it doesn’t have an expiry date otherwise it would have become too creative”.

The Dolo 650 scam was even trolled here as one user said “I hope this marriage is not a part of 1000cr DOLO’s Doctors gift project.

In 2021, Guwahati-based lawyer Ajay Sarma, made headlines with a wedding invitation. Sarma's invitation resembled a legal paper.

The KGF chapter 2 mania also spread to wedding invitations. One Karnataka couple altered the movie's original dialogue and included it in their wedding invitation.
