Pune: Medical Student Commits Suicide by Jumping From the Terrace of the College Hospital

The stress among medical students has tremendously increased in India. Unfortunately, another representation of that happened in Pune. A 21-year-old medical student committed suicide in Pune on March 29.

According to the reports, the student was stressed due to studies and examinations. She was also crying for the last three-four days. She was not well prepared, and yet her parents told her to appear for her exams.

The student has been taking treatment from a psychiatrist. The parents accompanied her to college and stayed by her side for the last 3-4 days.

However, to no avail, she somehow managed to go to the terrace of the Sassoon General Hospital and jumped down. She was rushed to the ICU but succumbed to her injuries.

The students studied at the BJ Government Medical College in Pune. There was no suicide note recovered.
