A shocking scandal has been uncovered in Rajasthan's medical community. Multiple individuals have registered as doctors using forged documents and certificates from other states, despite lacking proper MBBS degrees. These fake doctors submitted phony registration certificates and No Objection Certificates (NOCs) that weren't verified by the Rajasthan Medical Council (RMC). 98 individuals with only 12th-grade education became fake gynecologists and surgeons using forged documents.

The Rajasthan Medical Council registrar, Dr. Rajesh Sharma, has been suspended effective immediately due to allegations of registering doctors using fake documents. This decision was made after an interim report from a five-member committee, formed by Health Minister Gajendra Singh Khinvsar, revealed procedural flaws and negligence in doctor registration.

Dr. Girdhar Gopal Goyal, Chief Specialist of Surgery at Sawai Mansingh Hospital, will take over as registrar in the meantime. The issuance of fake registration is a serious matter and the state government will get to the bottom of it, the minister said. They also emphasized that issue of fake registrations, the state government will thoroughly investigate the matter. He further assured stringent action and said that if required, the RMC office would be sealed and the matter would be handed over to the Anti-Corruption Bureau.
