By Malsha Kavindi:
Resistance keeps you stuck. Surrender immediately opens you to the greater intelligence that is vaster than the human mind, and it can then express itself through you.
So, we frequently discover that circumstances change via submission. For some, the word "surrender" may carry negative connotations, such as "defeat," "giving up," "failing to meet life's challenges," "being lethargic," etc. True surrender is a very different thing. It does not imply that you should accept your circumstances without actively trying to change them.
Nor does it mean to cease making plans or initiating positive action. Surrender is the simple but profound wisdom of yielding to rather than opposing the flow of life, which is almost about the self-acceptance emphasized by surrendering oneself. Self-acceptance is the process of welcoming the unconditioned self. It is the first step forward in expressing love for another, a key to happiness.
You must learn to accept the aspects of yourself that you find unfavorable or unattractive if you want to achieve self-acceptance. No one could have prepared us for life's numerous twists and turns since it is unpredictable.
It's a beautiful ride, but it's also exhausting. And if there's one thing I learned to be true, it's that sometimes not knowing what we lost along the way or where all those little dreams we had to let go went Because this life journey is an actual ride with the fuel of self-acceptance, Life is exhausting without our own drama. It is about focusing on our desires, celebrating our strengths, developing self-compassion, and recognizing the silver lining in negative situations. It will direct us to the thought, of I'll happily take the twists and turns and their lessons to move forward. Our mental health matters a lot. We should have enough energy to be on our way if we are sure that our way will not be a destruction of any other's. We should not learn to compromise our peace and happiness, and do not let self-rejection hear your footsteps fading away.
Self-acceptance means finding answers to your deepest heart's desires. Doors don't always open, despite your best wishes. As we have built up good self-esteem directed by self-acceptance at one age, we will see that the doors we did walk through were the ones we were supposed to walk through, and that path is right for us. And, as the years abound and you read your story back, it will suddenly appear that your life was right on track.
Lack of self-acceptance eventually leads to a lot of anxiety and mental turmoil, and nothing eternal gives the desired happiness and peace. Self-acceptance leads us to believe in peace. It gives us the satisfaction of not judging anyone. It's a way to make us feel like every human is equal, and while they all have their flaws, they are still trying to find something that gives them peace.
Emotions are like roller coasters; you never know for sure what you'll land on. You have two little "freaks" who want to boss around and oversee their masters. One was ruled by logic and was constantly overthinking, while the other was just going everywhere without hesitation. The brain is the one who needs to have everything under control. He is the dominant one in people who get hurt by the ones they used to love, who are afraid to let things go, and who have faced emotions on their own. He is the protector of the heart. So, self-acceptance means validating our brain and practicing it to protest our hearts. The heart is the one that cares too much and makes other people feel loved. He is the one who gets hurt by the wrong people and is healed by the right ones. The brain relaxes with the heart by his side as it repeatedly shows him that life can be beautiful. Both have an important role to play in keeping one alive and safeguarding ourselves, creating memories that will give a better yardstick to measure progress and further growth. So that they can both last a lifetime together. A beautiful emotional roller coaster of life is the basis of self-acceptance.
