Chitradurga, Karnataka: A 36-year-old staff nurse, Indramma, died in suspicious circumstances after falling from the second floor of a Chitradurga private hospital.

The incident took place at Basaveshwara Hospital, where Indramma had been employed as a staff nurse for several years, residing in Chikkobanahalli, Molakalmuru taluk.

Colleagues reported that Indramma's friend dropped a key from the second floor, which became entangled in a live electrical wire. While attempting to remove it with a wooden stick, Indramma lost her balance and fell, sustaining severe head injuries and profuse bleeding, and later succumbed en route to Basaveshwara Hospital.

Indramma's family has voiced suspicions surrounding her tragic death, prompting them to file a complaint at Chitradurga Town police station. In response, police have initiated a thorough investigation, registering a case and mobilizing forensic experts and technicians to scrutinize the scene, gather evidence, and unravel the truth.
