The Air India urinating case keeps on getting even more twisted. The accused, Shankar Mishra while traveling on an Air India flight, unzipped his pants in an inebriated state and urinated on an elderly woman on November 26.

The Sessions Court resumed its hearing on the case in Delhi. The counsel for Delhi Police submitted that police custody is needed to establish the chain of events.

However, the statements from Shankar Mishra's counsel changed the entire complexion of the hearing. The counsel claimed that the elderly woman has a problem with incontinence and that she urinated on herself. The counsel further added that the woman's seat was blocked and Mishra couldn't go there.

However, that's not all of it. Mishra's counsel gave a shocking statement to back their claims. The counsel said that the woman is a Kathak dancer and that 80% of Kathak dancers have this issue of incontinence.

The explanation was quickly shut down by the Sessions Court Judge. The Judge said that it is possible to go from one side of the flight to the other. The Judge further asked for a diagram of the flight seating.

Mishra's counsel statement and their strategy of using Kathak as an explanation didn't go well with Padma Awardee Kathak dancer Shovana Narayan.

Narayan claimed that it is the 'weirdest' reasoning that has ever been put forth. She said that peeing on a woman is not related to any vocation at all.

She further said that Mishra is creating a diversion from the fact that he outraged a woman's modesty.
