A UK woman announced her own death due to a rare cancer through a heartbreaking post on LinkedIn.

Daniella Thackray, a 25-year-old woman from the UK announced her own death. Her obituary was published by her family on her behalf. Daniella, working as an HR professional from Leeds said that she was suffering from a rare bile duct cancer called Cholangiocarcinoma, a type of cancer that forms in the bile ducts.

She expressed her final words through a heartbreaking post on LinkedIn. She pre-written the message for her family to post on her behalf. In her post, she wrote “if you’re reading this then it means I have died from my battle with cancer, and my family are posting my final message on my behalf”.

She said that she just wanted to say that not all cancers are caused by lifestyle choices, in some cases it's genetics or unfortunately it just happens. In her case, despite being very healthy and active, a cancer started in her bile ducts which was not caused by anything in her control and her life was never the same again.

She explained her condition in the post that cholangiocarcinoma is a rare aggressive cancer with often no apparent causes and no treatment. She said that she really does expect that, in the following years more research is done about this horrid cruel disease so that more lives can be saved.

She said she chose not to mourn the life she was losing despite being so devastated, but to instead enjoy every moment she had left. She suggested that people should enjoy the little things in life and cherish every moment, do whatever makes them happy, and don't let anyone take the joy of life away from them.

She expressed her love for her job, her family, her fiancé Tom, her friends, and her dog Leo and thanked everyone for making her life so magical.

Daniella further expressed her love towards her fiance Tom, and thanked him for supporting her and bringing so much love and happiness into her life.

The heartbreaking message melted so many users. One user said her deepest condolences to Daniella's family, fiance, friends, and colleagues and another said she was literally in tears, having been diagnosed with stage 1A breast cancer in August, and then surgery (lumpectomy) followed by radiation, and said this message from Daniella hits home.

Daniella had been fighting with bile duct cancer for more than seven months. She also shared pictures of herself in the hospital and also showed how she had a liver resection and gallbladder surgery.
