In a Facebook post, a nurse from Louisiana revealed that a steakhouse kicked her out for wearing "too revealing".
At Stabs Prime Steak and Seafood in Baton Rouge, Y'Mine McClanahan, a Family nurse practitioner (FNP), was kicked out for wearing a two-piece outfit that was a floral tube top and a long skirt. She said she wore the same outfit several times but this time she was asked to leave as the dress didn't comply with the restaurant's dress policy as reported by New York Post.
The nurse wrote that she was done with Stabs as they found her dress revealing compared to the waitresses with mini skirts.
Restaurant co-owner Dori Murvin argued saying it was revealing at the top.
While nurse claimed that her outfit wasn't revealing and also uploaded a video of waitresses wearing short skirts and fish nets.
McClanahan said, "I left feeling kind of mortified, violated, ashamed and humiliated because I had never had something happen like this to me as a working professional".
The restaurant website specified that tank tops are not allowed.
Her post on the internet grabbed attention and some users commented in support of her saying that the outfit wasn't revealing.
