In an incident captured on CCTV, a nurse at Sapra Hospital in Hisar was seen punching a patient in the ICU. The video, which went viral on social media, has led to severe backlash and a police investigation. The patient's family alleges that the doctor, nursing staff, and a security guard were involved in assaulting and threatening the patient.

According to the patient's son, his father was held hostage, beaten, and threatened with death. Based on the family's complaint, the police have registered an FIR against the involved individuals. The hospital authorities have since suspended the implicated staff members.

The CCTV footage shows a male nurse approaching the patient, who is lying in bed. After checking his surroundings, the nurse punches the patient's left lower chest and then ties the patient's hands to the bed. This incident came to light when the patient informed his family about the assault the next day. The hospital management discovered the incident after reviewing the CCTV footage.

The patient, suffering from liver-related ailments, was admitted to the ICU on June 18. The alleged assault occurred on the night of June 19. The patient's son, Darshan Singh, lodged a complaint with the police, accusing the doctor, nurse, and a security guard of holding his father hostage and beating him.
