Dr. Farzana said that this was not a normal birth, there were many intricacies. After the birth of the babies Tahira faced some issues but shortly everything became normal. Tahira has been shifted to a higher-level medical facility for additional care and treatment. Doctors said that this type of case is seen in one in a million people.

A similar case happened in May last year in Jharkhand, where a woman delivered five children at the Rajendra Institute of Medical Sciences (RIMS). As the babies were underweight they were kept in NICU (Neonatal Intensive Care Unit) for supervision. After the successful delivery of the five babies, the RIMS shared the news on its social media platform Twitter. Remarkably, this is the first time in the hospital’s records that quintuplets have been delivered.
