Don’t Delay Vaccines—They Are Safe, Effective and Save Lives

The ministry suggests that pilgrims visit the health center in advance before they depart the country, particularly those individuals with chronic conditions. The vaccinations are accessible at both government health centers and private hospitals.

The Health and Prevention Ministry advised that vaccination should be administered at least 10 days before their travel date to ensure the effectiveness and immunity of the vaccine. It also suggested people with chronic health conditions should consult their doctor to confirm their health condition before traveling for Umrah and Hajj and recommended the pilgrims manage their sufficient medicines, suggest immunization, and participate in regular exercises.
