Medical schools, medical colleges, and medical universities are all terms used interchangeably to refer to institutions where students learn various aspects of medicine. Medical school provides a comprehensive education, covering basic subjects, basic surgical instruments, advanced topics, and complex surgeries. My experience in medical school has been great so far. The doctors and professors have been kind and supportive, always willing to assist us and taking the time to address our concerns. They have been like a reliable backbone, consistently providing support. Initially, it was a bit challenging to comprehend the professors' English, which was different from what I was accustomed to. However, as time passed, they made each lecture and topic easily understandable. Medical school plays a significant role in shaping us and helping us become the individuals we are today.
Some of the members from the MedBound and others shared their medical school experience;
Dr. Vithalrao Vikhe Patil Foundation's Medical College, Ahmednagar, India shaped my life. Unforgettable place and people. Med school is a place where you cry and laugh at the same time. That is exam time.
Dr. Munmun Rai, Medical advisor at Education Cell Medbound
I never got to enjoy my medical school in person. I had offline classes only for a few days. Everything was online due to COVID and now the war. So I never got to experience stress, enjoyment, exam fear, viva, etc. But I met great teachers who have always been supportive. So that's the best part.
